The Star

The Star.

This strand is forever the one that I hold most dear. It was my first creation as Lost Star Cravt. It's about acknowledgment of the grief cycles we go through when experiencing trauma. Knowing how important it is to be kind to yourself throughout that process.
No two people experience grief the same from one situation to the next. For some it's a steady march forward. For others it's back and forth. Denial, anger, bargaining, depression, acceptance; moving through these stages one at a time. Moving back into them when we have set backs. Sometimes feeling all of them in the span mere minutes.
It's okay. It's okay to not be okay. Acknowledge that. Feel it. Live with it for a space. Then no matter how small, take a step forward. This strand was what I created when I felt like I had no steps to take. I was lost in the abyss of my sadness.
My wish was for hope. Hope that I might find that small step to keep moving forward and find peace again.

Onyx is thought to provide protection and strength to the wearer. The Sterling Silver star closure represents the guiding light that will assist in finding a way through even the darkest night.
