Antares - The Scorpion's Heart

The brightest star of Scorpio, Antares. This star represents change and metamorphosis. The deep color of the garnet was what drew me to the name Antares. It reminded me of a heart stone. However, the balancing properties of the stone really compliment the meaning of the name as well.
